The New Landscape of British American Football
British American Football is entering a transformative era. With one professional franchise slated for 2026 and another for 2027, the UK is seeing a level of ambition not witnessed since the late 1990s. However, this growth is contrasted by a massive void: the London Warriors, multi-time national champions and the titans of the domestic game, will not compete this year.
Their absence reshapes the Premiership. Every team now sees a path to the throne, though the lack of a "W

PFL Power Rankings – Week 2
1. Warsaw Eagles (2–0)
Last game: W 24–7 Lowlanders
The Eagles remain at the top of the rankings after improving to 2–0. They have shown consistency on both sides of the ball and continue to look like the most complete team in the league. Looking ahead, if they maintain this level of defense and efficiency on offense, they should remain the team to beat. The real test will come against other top contenders.

HFL Power Rankings - Week 1
The 2026 season of the Hungarian Football League officially got underway with two games that highlighted both dominance and resilience. While only four teams took the field, the action didn’t disappoint, as the Újpest Bulldogs and the Budapest Wolves opened their campaigns with victories.
It’s also worth noting that this was a shortened opening round, as the Győr Sharks and the Budapest Cowbells did not play this weekend, meaning all eyes were on these two teams.

THE MOST COMPETITIVE LEAGUE IN EUROPE IS BACK AND WILL BE HOLDING ON TO THAT TITLE
The preseason must have been harsh, because this week ended with a lot of upsets and not a single expected win. The Ducks beat the ex-ELF Enthroners, the Prague Black Panthers won against the Graz Giants and the Danube Dragons defeated their lifelong rivals, the Vienna Vikings.
SALZBURG DUCKS VS. FEHERVAR ENTHRONERS (16:3)
I can only imagine what the Ducks had to go through in the preseason to get such an amazing win in the first week. The most disappointing team in the lea

GFL News You Can Use!
Dresden Signings
The Dresden Monarchs of the German Football League will be without star receiver Tyler Hudson for part of the season while he plays in the United Football League with the Louisville Kings.
To fill the gap, Dresden signed receiver Montigo Moss from the University of Maine. Moss totaled 61 receptions for 722 yards and seven touchdowns in his final season and is a deep-ball and red-zone threat who should immediately factor into their offensive game plan, espec

WTF is going on in Spain?!
This is the most competitive season the LNFA has seen in decades, marked by the first loss of Las Rozas Black Demons in 2 years, who has recently fell against the Osos de Rivas.
After 9 weeks and 35 games played, we are in the midst of the LNFA season. With only one regular season week left, it’s safe to say that, at least this year, the Spanish league has turned into one of the most entertaining competitions in Europe.
I'm aware that a statement of that caliber is no joke,

Portuguese American Football League - Week 9
Week 9 of the LPFA didn’t just bring results — it brought clarity.
As the regular season progresses, the gap between contenders and the rest is no longer subtle. With dominant performances at the top and growing struggles at the bottom, the identity of this year’s championship race is beginning to take shape.
And now, more than ever, the standings tell the story.

Week 5 Power Rankings - D1 Élite
As always, a reminder before we get into it: this is subjective. These rankings are based on results, game flow, momentum, level of opposition, and the overall impression each team left this weekend. They are not the standings, and they are not meant to be taken personally. The goal is simple: place teams where they feel right now, after comparing what we thought we knew through the first month of the season with what Week 5 confirmed, challenged, or completely changed.

Swiss NLA Power Ranking - Week 0
1. Calanda Broncos (1-0)
The Broncos are one of only two teams that played this week (75–0 win vs. Zurich). Calanda is still the team to beat and, while Max Gray is not replaceable, they remain the favorites to four-peat and are also contenders for the CEFL. Alpine Häns standout wide receiver Ismael Schmid is a great addition. Swiss QB Robin Sennrich only continues to improve.

IFL Power Ranking - Week 4
1. Guelfi Firenze
There are few words to describe this Saturday's performance by the Guelfi at home against the Rhinos Milano. It was a magnificent performance by the players coached by Fabrizio Bocci, who left their opponents with only crumbs.
The Tuscans won the match as a team; there's no one name in particular to highlight, although the biggest compliments go to Karim Diop, a player from the youth team who scored his first IFL touchdown.
In three weeks, the first test of

DAFL: A New Era for American Football in Southeastern Europe
American football in Southeast Europe is entering a new chapter with the creation of the Danube American Football League (DAFL). A regional competition built on ambition, collaboration, and a shared vision for growth.
The league was not created overnight. The idea of a regional competition had been circulating since 2019, when something close to a true regional platform last existed. Over the years, founding teams met in different competitive contexts. The Bucharest Titans p

LNFA POWER RANKINGS (SLIGHTLY POST) MID-SEASON
1. BLACK DEMONS
Staying unbeaten through the first half of the season in a league that has shown just how balanced it is from top to bottom is no small feat. Black Demons have made it crystal clear that they are the team everyone else is chasing, and at this point it would be a real shock if they did not finish first in the conference.

Portuguese American Football League – Weeks 7 & 8
Playoff Picture Begins to Take Shape
As the Portuguese American Football League approaches the final stretch of the regular season, every result begins to carry heavier weight in the playoff race. IFL Power Ranking - Week 2
Week 2 of the Italian Football League didn't provide many surprises in terms of results in the two games played over the weekend.
The Giaguari Torino easily defeated the Bologna Warriors, who have yet to score a touchdown in their two games so far, while the Parma Panthers defeated the debutants Lazio Marines at home, albeit with considerable difficulty.
While we wait to see Frogs Legnano and Dolphins Ancona on the field, here is the First Down Magazine Power Ranking update

IFL Power Ranking - Week 1
The Italian Football League finally returned last weekend, and it did so in style with three games, all played on February 28th.
Rhinos Milano and Panthers Parma treated us to one of the best games played as of recent IFL history, finishing 58-56 for the Emilians after four overtimes.
The defending champions, Guelfi Firenze, managed to return to the field with a strong victory against Giaguari Torino, who held firm for a half before succumbing 46-21.

Week 3 Power Rankings for the D1 Élite
1. Black Panthers - Thonon-les-bains Flash 3-0
In what was, overall, a very solid and well-played game, they gave the Météores almost nothing to work with and showed a really convincing side. There were still a few uncharacteristic errors (ATH Bafdile putting the ball on the ground on a punt return, for example) that didn’t end up costing much. The conditions clearly played a part, with the bad weather making execution tricky for everyone. But it’s still the kind of detail t

Does the NFL Have a Development Problem?
For several seasons now, a growing murmur has echoed through the corridors of the National Football League. The league has increasingly fast-tracked its young prospects, pushing them onto the field earlier than ever and handing them ever-greater responsibility. Some of those players never fully develop, hindered by deeper structural issues in their progression.
That trend has become impossible to ignore. In recent years, NFL franchises have entrusted rookies with enormous re
