1.DANUBE DRAGONS(5-1)
The Dragons are arguably the strongest team in the league right now and the loss against the Graz Giants changes little. I know that the players and the coaches internalised every single mistake and will not let them happen again. The Dragons are probably going to be in the final this season and there is nothing you can do about that.
2. VIENNA KNIGHTS (5-1)
For a team that’s new to the league the Knights are really making a statement. They are a dominant team and a single loss only makes them stronger. Watch out for them, cause they’re only getting stronger.
3. GRAZ GIANTS (4-2)
The Giants jogged over the start line but now they’re picking up the pace. After two losses in their first two games of the season, they never stopped winning and this week they were the first team to beat the dragons this season. It’s going really well for them.
4. PRAGUE BLACK PANTHERS (4-2)
Prague was always a dominant team, but to keep that image this season they need to get some more wins. And that’s exactly what they’re doing. After two straight losses with 0 points they’re coming back for blood. They won their last two matches with at least 40 points and got their revenge against the Vikings.
5. VIENNA VIKINGS (3-3)
I could have never imagined ranking the Vienna Vikings in the lower half of the league, but it finally happened. To me it seems like they’re only giving 50% and their score reflects that. They need to get back on their horse and keep riding it, like coach sobotka said.
6. SALZBURG DUCKS (2-4)
It seems like after three losses in a row the Salzburg Ducks decided to lock in and get their second win of the season (against the weakest team in the league). Hopefully this time they will take that momentum and rise in the Power rankings. I’m rooting for them.
7. FEHERVAR ENTHRONERS (1-5)
Despite their first win, I’m still not really sure how the Enthroners made it to the ELF in the first place. At the start of the season I was expecting that they would be dominant, but in the end they’re just as disappointing as in the ELF. I don’t know what that means for the franchise's future, but it doesn’t look bright.
8. SWARCO RAIDERS TYROL (0-6)
A disappointing first half of the season for the raiders. 0 wins in 6 games. To be fair, four of the five games were against the two strongest teams in the league right now. Still, the scores weren’t even close. What's most embarrassing is the loss against the Salzburg Ducks, a team that is not known for being that good.
