AFL WEEK 3 WAS BLOWOUT WEEK

Last week kept us on our toes with a 17 Point difference across all games. This week it was pure domination. Three out of four games ended with a blowout. Giants got their first win, Prague got their first loss. Another fascinating week in the most competitive Football league.

DANUBE DRAGONS VS PRAGUE BLACK PANTHERS (24:0)

The two undefeated teams came head to head this week and it turned out nothing like I expected. The Dragons secured an incredible 24:0 win against the Black Panthers. I don’t know if the Dragons were on something or the Prague Black Panthers just lost their touch, but I guess we will never know.

FEHERVAR ENTHRONERS VS VIENNA VIKINGS (19:20)

This was the only close game this week. The Enthroners lost het again by a very small difference and have still nothing to show this season, which is quite sad in my opinion. At this point I’m routing for them and I will be there to celebrate their first win in the AFL once it finale comes.

GRAZ GIANTS VS SALZBURG DUCKS (35:7)

THE GRAZ GIANTS GOT THEIR FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON!!! And what a win it was. 5 times more points than their opponent is a feat they can be proud of. Especially after such a terrible start to the season. As for the Salzburg Ducks: I’m getting deja-vu. Last season they celebrated a huge win in the first week, before losing every single game after that. I just hope that won't be the case this time around.

VIENNA KNIGHTS VS RAIDERS TYROL (36:15)

The Vienna Knights are on a spectacular run so far and looking ahead with the previous weeks in mind, there isn’t anything in the near future that can really stop them. The Vienna Knights are really showing that they belong in the league more than anybody else. Also, a historic moment happened during that game: The Vienna Knights have a female kicker and this week, she made her first points in the AFL. This makes her the first woman to score points in a game in AFL history! CONGRATULATIONS LISA-MARIE TRITSCHER!
