ALMOST HALFWAY THERE: AFL WEEK 4 RECAP

This week was like a groundhog's day. The winners from last week didn't change at all. The only thing that did change, is how easily they won this time. Let's get into it.

GRAZ GIANTS VS FEHERVAR ENTHRONERS (31:8)

The Graz Giants seem to be back to their own serves after their first win last week. The practices are probably becoming harder and harder in anticipation of their game against the Vienna Vikings next week. As for the Enthroners, I’m honestly really disappointed. They were showing such great potential in every game with their close losses, but now they experienced a blow-out. Hopefully this will give them the motivation they need to get their first win against the dragons in two weeks.

SALZBURG DUCKS VS VIENNA KNIGHTS (15:34)

The Ducks have started their losing streak once again and are quite frankly almost out of willpower. I really hope that I’m wrong about my prediction, but looking at their future games, it does not look good. Meanwhile, the Vienna Knights are still dominating and are without a single loss. I’m really excited to see how they will perform against a non-Austrian team.

VIENNA VIKINGS VS PRAGUE BLACK PANTHERS (24:0)

A once dominant franchise in the league is now slowly slipping into irrelevance with their second 24:0 loss. This setback is probably really painful for the Black Panthers and I imagine their morale can’t be too high before the game against the undefeated Knights. There's not much I can say about the Vienna Vikings. They are back on their horse and don’t look like they will get off it anytime soon as coach Sobotka put it.

RAIDERS TYROL VS DANUBE DRAGONS (6:21)

I’m not sure what’s up with the Raiders. Even a home game in the alps didn’t give them a win. And believe me, I experienced a game on their home turf and the energy there is amazing, so I’m really surprised they lost that game. Although it was against the strongest team in the league right now, so I’ll let it slide this time. Hopefully they use their chance against the Vienna Knights next week.
