Superserien Week 11 Power Rankings

Updated: Jun 19

1A. Carlstad Crusaders (-)

With a dominant 49-0 victory, the Crusaders have sent the Limhamn Griffins into the offseason. The reigning champions seem to only have gotten stronger over the course of the season and will now face the Örebro Black Knights for the #1 seed in the playoffs. But careful! A loss and a Tyresö win could mean a drop all the way to #3 and, in turn, losing precious home field advantage.

1B. Örebro Black Knights (+0.5)

Örebro or Carlstad, that seems to be the theme of the season. The Black Knights also dominated their opposition this last weekend and won 40-10 over AIK. It seems unfair to put any of these two teams into second place on a power ranking, which is why we decided to go with 1A & 1B. Just like Carlstad, Örebro could either end up in the #1 seed or drop all the way down to #3. It’s a coin flip really.

3. Tyresö Royal Crowns (-)

Tyresö is officially the best team in Stockholm.41-6 over their all time rival SMM is nothing short of a statement and a possible power shift in Swedish football altogether. Slowly but steadily, the Royal Crowns have gotten better and better over the course of the season and everything seems to be clickingat just the right time. If they beat SMM at home in their last regular season game, they will gain home field advantage over either Carlstad or Örebro in the playoffs and could be set for a solid playoff run that could very well see TRC end up in the SM finale.

4. Kristianstad Predators (-)

Kristianstad’s playoffs hopes took a big fat blow on the weekend, losing 26-42 to the Oslo Vikings. Thankfully both AIK and SMM lost their respective matchups as well, so the Predators control their own fate. Beat the Towers and you’re playoff bound – an opportunity nobody would’ve believed to be possible in the beginning of the season.

5. AIK (+1)

AIK loses 10-40 to league-leading Örebro, but rises in our power rankings due to the weaker competition this week. It’s quite impressive what a season AIK has strung together, though they only made minor moves this offseason and chose to go with homegrown Swedish National Team QB Max Lambert. A possible 4-4 season on the horizon, all while their best player Gustaf Ras is in the US, collecting Power 4 college offers? Impressive stuff.

6. Stockholm Mean Machines (-1)

Stockholm needs an offseason. To restructure, recruit and rebuild. The record champion has had a season from hell that will most likely lead them to a negative record and finishing below AIK and Tyresö. If they make smart moves and pull the right strings they will be back in business in 2026, but for now, this is a devastating situation to be in.

7. Oslo Vikings (+1)

The Vikings are alive! Their 42-26 W over playoff hopefuls Kristianstad was a much-needed sign of life from the former Norwegian serial champs. The crazy thing: With all teams except Örebro, Carlstad and Tyresö having a negative record, there might even be a (tiny) chance for Oslo to reach the #4 seed to the playoffs. What a crazy league…

8. Limhamn Griffins (-1)

0 points scored. 49 points conceded. Tough day for the Griffins. A 3-5 season is not bad at all and a significant step up from last season. If they don’t waste time going into the offseason, we could see a “Kristianstad-like” year from Limhamn in 2026 – the potential is definitely there.

9. Copenhagen Towers (-)

The Towers have the unique chance to get their first win on the season and ruin the Predators playoff hopes at the same time. If they can once again get the run game going, there might be a chance to cause some trouble and ruin KP’s miracle season.
