Danube Dragons
The Dragons suffered their first loss after an away game against the Prague Black Panthers. They were on quite a roll up until now, but I guess the atmosphere in the house of the defending AFL champions got to them.
Graz Giants
Moving up the leaderboard after a close win against the Vienna Vikings. Even though they were in Vienna as guests, their fans made sure to show up and destroy the Vikings' confidence.
Vienna Vikings
The Vikings have lost their second game against the Graz Giants, which left them hurt and thirsty for revenge. The Vikings were confident before the game and were sure that they knew what their opponents would do. In the end, their offense was too confident and not quite on the same frequency and the defense was also quite dissatisfying. The game ended with a 20-19 loss and an injured quarterback.
Prague Black Panthers
The win against the Dragons isn’t quite enough to move the Prague Black Panthers higher on the leaderboard, but I think it will give them the confidence to continue winning game after game. Their defense was fierce and didn’t let anything through, which guaranteed their victory last Sunday.
Tirol Raiders
The Raiders had a disappointing game against the Salzburg Ducks, which honestly feels like karma after they crushed them the week before.
Salzburg Ducks
Learning from their mistakes, getting their first win of the season, and it wasn’t even close. They dominated the Raiders with a 34-15 win, which left them with the taste of victory. Let’s hope that will lead them to even more wins in the coming games.
