With Week 6 wrapped up, we finally saw a big shakeup at the top. The Hornets are no longer undefeated, the Bisons made a huge statement, and the Rams continued their hot streak. As we head into the final stretch of the regular season four teams have already made the cut, and we will see how the seedings will finalize moving forward into playoff football. For the other half of the league, it's still not clear which team will directly say goodbye and which team will be fighting with the runner ups of the second division to stay.
1. Koç Rams (5-1) — 29-22 vs IU Bulls
Koç takes the top spot this week after another strong win, marking their fifth in a row. The game against IU was closer than expected but the Rams stayed calm, took control when it mattered, and got the job done. With their only loss coming in the first week of the season, the Rams are looking like the most balanced and reliable team in the league right now.
2. Istanbul Bisons (5-1) — 20-13 vs ITU Hornets
What a win! The Bisons handed the Hornets their first loss of the season and showed that they are serious contenders. With this win Istanbul clinched a playoff berth and did it in impressive fashion with a win over the previously unbeaten Hornets. The Bisons stayed calm under pressure and got the win in overtime. The defense stepped up big time, and the offense made just enough plays to take the lead and hold it. They have bounced back strongly since their Week 4 loss and are right on the Rams’ heels.
3. ITU Hornets (5-1) — 13-20 vs Istanbul Bisons
For the first time this season, the Hornets looked a little shaken. The offense struggled to find rhythm, and while their defense held up for most of the game, the Bisons found just enough openings to win it. The Hornets are still very much a top team, but this loss will sting (no pun intended) and they will need to bounce back quickly.
4. Izmir Halcyons (4-2) — 39-19 vs Gazi Warriors
The Halcyons came into Week 6 with something to prove—and they delivered. After being shut out by the Rams last week, Izmir responded by clinching the playoffs in a big way by lighting up the scoreboard against the Warriors. The offense was on fire, putting up 39 points and showing off their big-play potential. With this bounce-back win, Izmir stays firmly in the playoff mix and reminds everyone that they can be dangerous when they find their rhythm.
5. METU Falcons (3-3) — 47-14 vs Hacettepe Red Deers
The Falcons did everything they needed to do this week. They put on a dominant performance against the Red Deers, with their offense finally clicking and their defense forcing turnovers. Unfortunately, other results didn’t go their way – it was too little, too late to earn a playoff spot. A bittersweet win for a team that showed flashes of real potential. The good news for them is they are guaranteed to finish 5th place so they can come back and try again next season.
6. IU Bulls (1-5) — 22-29 vs Koç Rams
The Bulls gave the Rams a good fight but came up just short. It was one of their best games this season, and they pushed a top team all the way. Unfortunately, close losses don’t change the standings and the Bulls now sit at 1-5. Still, if they play like this again, they could definitely end the season on a high note. Their upcoming matchup might be the best time to play their best game because this game against the Red Deers will show us if they are directly relegating or fighting in the first division in 2026.
7. Gazi Warriors (1-5) — 19-39 vs Izmir Halcyons
The Warriors couldn’t keep up this week. While they managed to put some points on the board, their defense struggled to contain the Halcyons’ explosive offense. It’s been a tough season all around, and this game summed it up with some solid effort, but there were just too many gaps on both sides of the ball. With one game left, the Warriors will be hoping to finish the season on a stronger note and give themselves something to build on for next year. They won’t be directly relegated but the outcome of the Red Deers and Bulls game will decide if they earn 6th or 7th place.
8. Hacettepe Red Deers (0-6) — 14-47 vs METU Falcons
It’s been a tough season for the Red Deers, and this week was no different. The Falcons pulled away early, and Hacettepe couldn’t catch up. That’s six straight losses, and with one game left, they’re just hoping to end the season with a win. To add pressure, that elusive win is their only chance to stay in the first division.
Week 6 was one of the most important weeks so far. The top three teams are now all tied at 5-1, setting up a dramatic finish to the regular season. With just one week left before the playoffs, everything is on the line—seeding, survival, and pride. Get ready for a wild Week 7.
