PFL Power Ranking - Halfway Through The Regular Season

All of the teams but one in Polska Futbol Liga (PFL) reached the halfway point in their regular season. It’s high time to evaluate who’s making a strong case for being the Polish Bowl contender, who’s trying to survive and who’s really surprising us in the 2025 season.
DISCLAIMER: This Power Ranking is 100% subjective. While it’s based on the on-field play of the teams listed, you’re absolutely allowed to disagree. I’m not holding any grudges against any PFL teams, so feel free to let us know what you’d change in the comments. Let’s grow the game—not stomp on it.
15. Wataha Zielona Góra (0-5)
Last game: L @ Rebels 50-0
Next game: vs Jaguars (1.06)
-206 point differential and loss in the most important game for Wataha’s season against Tytani Lublin speaks for itself. Very tough season for the former 9v9 team and I applaud their effort, but their schedule isn’t getting easier. Team from Zielona Góra is staying home for their last 3 games, so it’s not impossible to get an upset against some tired team, but it will demand 110% on the field.
14. Białe Lwy Gdańsk (0-4)
Last game: L @ Wilki 6-40
Next game: vs Dukes (24.05)
So far, Białe Lwy couldn’t get a W even against teams on similar level. The next big chance will come next week, against Dukes Ząbki on Gdańsk’s turf. After that, they will have to survive the combo of Mets, Armia Poznań and Lowlanders. Maybe White Lions will somehow claw through?
13. Dukes Ząbki (0-4)
Last game: L vs Tytani 0-19
Next game: @ Białe Lwy (24.05)
On the last Power Ranking I gave the Dukes the benefit of a very strong schedule. The 19-0 loss against the “lower-tier slayers” Tytani Lublin makes me really cautious about their position in the near future. If games against Białe Lwy and Lakers turn out badly for the team from Ząbki, they could become a contender for 15th place.
12. Olsztyn Lakers (1-3)
Last game: L vs Armia 6-33
Next game: @ Dukes (31.05)
A big slide down for Olsztyn’s team. After an interesting beginning of the season and even getting some scores against suffocating Eagles’ defense, the big 33-6 loss to Armia feels like a major stumble. The Lakers can reverse their fortune, because their schedule is packed with winnable games, so don’t even think about crossing them off. I still believe they can be a playoff team.
11. Tytani Lublin (3-2)
Last game: W @ Dukes 19-0
Next game: vs Eagles (25.05)
Such an interesting team. They won all the games they had a shot at winning, rising to an opportunity against all lower-tier teams. I put them in front of the Lakers because of their form, but they will be put to a test in the last 3 games of the season. Week 8 against Olsztyn will definitely be the most important game of the season for both teams.
10. Armia Poznań (2-2)
Last game: W @ Lakers 33-6
Next game: @ Rebels (25.05)
Loss against the Falcons put Armia in a very uncomfortable position. Even though they handled business against the Lakers, possibly saving their season, they will have to step up their game if they are dreaming about playoffs. Southern group is no joke.
9. Tychy Falcons (2-2)
Last game: W vs Wilki 7-6
Next game: vs Kings (31.05)
Very strong bounceback for Falcons thanks to important wins against Armia and Wilki. These helped them stay in the Southern group playoff battle, but the rest of the season won’t be a walk in the park for the Beer City team. They might need to put on a fight against Kings and Rebels to really show us they can do it.
8. Jaguars Kąty Wrocławskie (2-2)
Last game: L @ Mets 26-63
Next game: vs Kings (18.05)
At the beginning, the Jaguars' defense was statistically one of the best in the league. Then came the games against Mets and Rebels, where Kąty Wrocławskie allowed a total of 103 points. The hardest moments of the season might be the past, but for the Jaguars to make a solid run for playoffs they need the comeback of the defense from the first two games (13 points allowed).
7. Wilki Łódzkie (3-1)
Last game: L @ Falcons 6-7
Next game: vs Mets (18.05)
Even though Wilki lost a game against lower ranked Falcons, I just had to put them pretty high because of their overall play in the first half of the season. Next few weeks will verify if Wilki just took advantage of a pretty easy schedule. Games against Mets, Lowlanders and Eagles makes them a candidate for a big slide down in the rankings. So just let them enjoy this moment, 3rd place in the Northern group deserves some praise, right?
6. Panthers Wrocław (2-2)
Last game: L @ Kings 12-18
Next game: @ Armia (1.06)
Probably a few more successful snaps of football could make the Panthers a 4-0 team. But the Kings happened. And now ELF will happen, so we don’t know how different the Panthers’ roster for the second half of the season will be. With the same record as 5 other teams in the Southern group, Panthers can’t afford to stumble against weaker opponents.
5. Kraków Kings (2-2)
Last game: W vs Panthers 18-12
Next game: @ Jaguars (18.05)
What Kings need in the second half of the season is consistency. They got through the very hard schedule and 2 wins against the Panthers gave them some breathing room. It’s much needed, since all of the teams left on their schedule would love to take a bite out of them. Just one loss could make this season even more stressful for the Kings.
4. Lowlanders Białystok (2-1)
Last game: W vs Rebels 36-35
Next game: @ Eagles (17.05)
Lowlanders have been chilling for the month already and haven't played a game since the last Power Ranking. First test - game against the Eagles. If Białystok comes out with a W, they would automatically become a very serious contender.
3. Silesia Rebels (4-1)
Last game: W vs Wataha 50-0
Next game: vs Armia (25.05)
Not a single game with Rebels’ offense scoring less than 35 points is even more impressive, when their defense steps up their game too. The team from Katowice allowed 0 points in the last two games and if they keep up this level of play in the last 3 games of the regular season, there is no reason to think they won’t be making a deep run in the playoffs.
2. Warsaw Mets (4-0)
Last game: W vs Jaguars 63-26
Next game: @ Wilki (18.05)
The Mets are surprising us with their stellar level of offensive play, already having two 60+ point games. Their remaining schedule is looking very easy with one big obstacle in the last week - the Warsaw Eagles. That showdown might probably be one of the biggest games of the whole season.
1. Warsaw Eagles (5-0)
Last game: W @ Lakers 20-9
Next game: vs Lowlanders (17.05)
The Warsaw steamroller is dominating the Polish league on both sides of the ball (the Olsztyn Lakers had an honor of scoring the first points against them) and looks like they are not satisfied with only the PFL. Wins against Stockholm Mean Machines and Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns put them in the CEFL semi-finals and there is no indicator they are slowing down - 11 sacks in the last game should speak for itself. But being that good puts some type of target on your back, so Eagles can’t let their guard down.
