What a week it’s been! The standings saw some serious shakeups, with several teams on the rise, and others starting to raise red flags. Let’s dive into who’s trending upward and, more importantly, who’s beginning to look a little worrying.
1. Nordic Storm
For the first time this season, they’ve claimed the top spot in the rankings. Despite trailing by one possession midway through the second quarter, they flipped the script in under 50 seconds of game time to take the lead. With momentum on their side, they’ll look to secure another win next week against the Mercenaries.
2. Paris Musketeers
This. Is. Not. A. Surprise. We told you, this team is on a mission. And now, after taking down the Galaxy with a well-rounded performance, they’ve firmly established themselves as one of the favorites for the Grand Final. They’ll need to clean up the interceptions before facing the Vikings in two weeks if they want to stay on top. But first, it’s off to Cologne, where the Centurions await, and they’re next on the hit list.
3. Vienna Vikings
How does this even happen? Up by 9 late in the third quarter, fresh off a turnover, they had the game in their hands. But then came that punt. A costly, avoidable mistake at the worst possible moment. It was the turning point. Momentum flipped, and from there, things unraveled. The O-line gave up a fumble-sack, which the Fire scooped and scored, sealing the comeback and taking the win back home. Now, it’s all about bouncing back in what feels like the ELF’s unofficial Austrian Bowl, as they prepare to battle the Raiders.
4. Rhein Fire
Turning Point? It was their first game since the official departure of Jim Tomsula, and the debut of Fred Armstrong as Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach. The result? A well-rounded win and a solid foundation to build some momentum. Next week’s matchup against the Thunder looks more manageable on paper, but nothing can be taken for granted.
5. Stuttgart Surge
What a freaky damn win! They completely annihilated the Centurions in what is surely the biggest win in the whole league’s story. They still lost a place because of how bad their opponent was. It’s still good for the head to score that much but obviously, it’s not super relevant. Next week should be a fairer matchup against the Munich Ravens.
6. Munich Ravens
Another great day for the Bavarian squad. After a quiet first quarter, Russell Tabor found his rhythm and never looked back. The offense clicked into gear, and the defense stepped up big, picking off the Thunder’s QB three times. Total domination from start to finish. Let’s hope they bring that same energy next week to shut down the Surge at home.
7. Frankfurt Galaxy
Nothing went their way this week. Even with three picks against the Musketeers' offense, they couldn’t capitalize and struggled to reach the endzone. Up 10–7 at one point, they gave up a touchdown just 10 seconds later. a brutal momentum shift. They’ll need to tighten up and stay locked in if they want a shot at beating Prague next week.
8. Raiders Tirol
A dominant performance, no doubt! They absolutely crushed the Mercenaries, leaving no room for hope. But one concern lingers: once again, they had to lean heavily on the ground game. With both Perry and Miller sidelined, it was Adrian Platzgummer who had to step up, and he delivered. Fingers crossed for some movement on the IR before next week’s showdown with the Vikings.
9. Madrid Bravos
Bye-week in the books, hopefully with some well-earned rest. Because next week, it’s go-time in Germany against the Sea Devils, and you can bet they’re out for revenge. It’s shaping up to be a fiery matchup.
10. Prague Lions
Far from flashy, but a win’s a win. The offense never really found its rhythm through the air, but the defense quietly did its job and kept things under control. Not the game of the week, but they got it done. Next week’s clash with the Galaxy will be a whole different story, time to show the doubters what they’re really made of.
11. Hamburg Sea Devils
Tough loss against a direct rival in the standings. The execution just wasn’t there, and it showed. They’ll need to bounce back, and fast. The good news? Micah Leon is back off IR, and all eyes will be on him to make a difference next week against the Bravos.
12. Wrocław Panthers
Promising start, but reality kicked in. They looked like they might pull off something big early on, but the favorites held their ground and took control as the game went on. Next week should be more manageable as they head to Hungary to take on the Enthroners, a perfect chance to bounce back.
13. Berlin Thunder
Another disappointing outing for the Thunder. Jakeb Sullivan is getting no help, constantly under pressure, sacked 4 times, and picked off twice. He’s scrambling for his life out there, giving serious Russell Wilson–Seahawks O-Line flashbacks. Things won’t get any easier next week with the Rhein Fire on deck. They’ll need a serious turnaround to stay in the fight.
14. Helvetic Mercenaries
Tough loss against the Raiders, and no time to breathe. With the Nordic Storm up next, the road doesn’t get any easier. They’ll need to regroup fast and come in swinging if they want to avoid slipping further.
15. Fehérvár Enthroners
Will the bye week be enough to reset and come back swinging against the Panthers? Time will tell, but they’ve got a lot to prove.
16. Cologne Centurions
Not to twist the knife, but things are unraveling fast. Week after week, the cracks in the organization get deeper. And now, they’re up against the surging Musketeers, a team with their eyes set on the top. It’s going to take something big to stop the bleeding.

The Fire earned that win. Definitely proved they have the best D-line in the league in my opinion.
Meanwhile, my poor Wroclaw Panthers can't stop anything through the air. Giving up that huge passing play leading to 6 in the final seconds of the first half was unacceptable. Offensively, QB Irons Jr. is talented on the feet, but he doesn't seem to be the answer at quarterback. 2 terrible interceptions solidified the loss. Come on, Panthers!!
