DAFL History Made: Wild Boars Complete a Perfect Season to Become the First DAFL Champions

The inaugural DAFL Championship delivered an exciting battle between the Wild Boars and the Bucharest Titans. Both teams entered the final determined to make history, but in the end, it was the Wild Boars who proved why they had been the league's most dominant team all season.

From the opening kickoff, both offenses showed they were ready for the big stage.

The Wild Boars struck first as RB Bogdan Djordjevic powered into the endzone to give his team an early lead. The Titans answered immediately, with QB Samuel Armstead using his legs to score and tie the game.

Then, the Wild Boars' biggest star took over. QB Isaiah Green reminded everyone why he has been the league's best quarterback this season, launching a beautiful 45-yard touchdown pass to WR Dimitrije Novakovic. Just a few drives later, Novakovic found the endzone again, this time on the ground, as the Boars continued to build momentum.

The Titans struggled at times against a disciplined Wild Boars defense, and one of the biggest plays of the game came when CB Cyril Bonnet forced a fumble that was recovered and returned for a touchdown by DL Milan Stojanovic. It was a huge momentum swing that extended the Boars' advantage.

To their credit, the Titans never stopped fighting. Armstead found WR Chad Turner through the air for a touchdown, once again showing the chemistry the two have built throughout the season. But every time Bucharest closed the gap, the Wild Boars had an answer.

Bogdan Djordjevic added another rushing touchdown before Isaiah Green connected with TE Stefan Đurić for another score before halftime.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Green added a rushing touchdown of his own before once again connecting deep with Dimitrije Novakovic for another spectacular touchdown. The Titans continued to play aggressively, trying to cut into the deficit, but another recovered fumble by the Wild Boars defense kept momentum on their side.

Armstead and Turner connected one final time on a beautiful 50-yard touchdown pass, highlighting one of the league's best quarterback-receiver duos this season, but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback.

A Historic Ending

With the final whistle, the Wild Boars officially became the first DAFL Champions, completing an incredible perfect season by winning every game on their schedule.

The Bucharest Titans also deserve recognition for their remarkable journey. In their first championship appearance, they fought until the very end and proved they belong among the league's top organizations.

As the inaugural DAFL season comes to a close, one team stands alone at the top.

The Wild Boars have made history.
